Mr Raphael Viz had served as the Vice President at Tata Consultancy Services for 20 years and Director of KPMG- India for 6 years prior to founding Scions Technology in 2005. He got his B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT, Mumbai and MBA from IIM, Kolkata before joining TCS. Over a span of 26 years in Techology sector, Raphael led several initiatives for technology adoption in financial inclusion, rural development, banking and manufacturing sectors. He was a key member of National Taskforce for Business Model for National Optical fiber network (NOFN) of Department of Electronics & Information (Govt. of India), Committee for rural transformation of Dept. of Posts and a member of the task force for Connectivity to Schools in Delhi to Access Educational Content (Government of India). In his last role as Director of KPMG- India, Raphael was responsible for leading KPMG’s effort in digitalization of banking system in India. He is a proven pioneer in Technology and also equally passionate for sustainable development. In 2005 he founded Scions Technology in Bengaluru inviting the world class leaders from IT, CSR, Environment and Development sectors to its board. Currently he serves as the CEO of Scions Technology. Dr Peter Matthew (BSc MSc DIC PhD MInstP MCIWM) was an academic at the School of Software Engineering, University of Leeds, UK, where he was coordinating a cross-disciplinary network on Circular Economy & Resource Recovery (CERRY). He was Vice Chair of the ISWA European Group; Head of the Waste Atlas Partnership Scientific Committee; and Vice Chair of the Technological Council – UK. Costas’s academic research papers on Technology have been honored with many prestigious Awards, including those from ICE, CIWM and ISWA. For last 25 years he has been pivotal change maker in the world of technology and digitalization for ease of doing business. He heads the Technology vertical of Scions Technology. Chittaranjan Behura has over 22 years’ experience in development and CSR management solution with diverse clients internationally. Working across the full range of sustainable development, corporate social responsibility and environment management with diverse number of business, civil society and government organizations, Chittaranjan has a special interest in stakeholders’ engagement, sustainability reporting and sustainable solution of geography-specific CSR and climate change problems across the globe. Educated in Sociology at Utkal University, India and Climate Change Management at the World Bank Institute, Washington, he has hands-on experiences across Asia, Europe and Africa. Passionate about sustainable development, he is a firm believer in strategic out-of-box solutions through innovations. Mr Roger Vyash has over 30 years of experience in the field of CSR and sustainable development. Worked in the leadership position with CIDA- Asia and Tsunami rehabilitation he delivered his best as the special advisor on health, education and disaster management to the Government of India and other provincial governments. He holds a post graduate degree in Economics and an M.Phil in Population Science and has acquired special skill courses in health economics in Netherlands and in LFA models in Denmark. He also worked as a visiting professor at the University of South Florida, USA on HIV/AIDS. He heads Sustainable Development vertical of Scions Technology. Languages: English and Hindi.


Dr Philip Anderson: Scions Technology’s Senior Asia consultant in Board, Philip is a highly experienced specialist and the former Counselor for Science and Innovation at the British Embassy in Beijing (2002-2005). He is currently working on various projects of the European Commission and BBC, and is also Visiting Professor at the Centre for East Asian Studies, University of Bristol. His latest book is entitled ‘From Mao to Market: China Reconfigured’ and is published by Columbia University Press (USA) and Hurst (UK). Languages: Chinese and English.


Khwaaza Ahmed, a change agent professional offering 20 years of progressive leadership experience with Fortune-100 companies. Expert in developing and leading innovative large scale thought leadership strategic initiatives for sustainable socio-economic impacts in collaboration with multi-stakeholders like governments, multilaterals, NGO’s, academia and private industry leaders. His passion about CSR led to the successful implementation of various community outreach development programs enabling 21st century learning in schools, delivering digital literacy programs for underserved communities, fostering STEM innovation, and building entrepreneurial capacity for youth resulted in inspiring over 2 million individuals in the Arab world. Dr Raphael Robinson: Specialised in building sustainable businesses and has experience in building strategies to support sustainable food production. He has 23 years of experience in crop science and animal health, managing global product portfolios, international teams and business units. He has a unique combination of biological training and commercial experience in agriculture and the food chain and is conducting postgraduate work in the University of Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership. Louisa Murray is a SAP and Oracle specialist and has 20 years hands-on experiences with SAP Lab and KPMG-USA following her MS in Software Engineering and MBA from MIT, USA. She gained extensive experience in creating, designing and managing a diverse number of software solutions catering to the need of the world wide clients from business and development sectors. Driven by her passion for making a digital world she has been associated with a number of international digital platforms with her best deliveries. Languages: German and English.


Kerry Ivastha: A senior sustainability consultant, specialising in the healthcare sector. Kerry holds a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia and an MSc in Environment Science and Society from University College London. She has 20 years experience in developing, implementing and leading sustainability strategies in highly regulated industries. Formerly with the NHS, she was the first person with specific responsibility over sustainable development and has worked on both hospital-centric sustainability strategies, as well as the national context of sustainable health and care systems.
